One of Türkiye’s leading media groups aimed to modernize its infrastructure in order to improve its existing business continuity strategy and achieve lower Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) values for critical systems. Long recovery times in the existing setup and the need for greater automation in operational processes prompted the search for a new solution.
In the project carried out for this purpose, the organization’s business continuity infrastructure was rebuilt on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As part of the solution, database replication and disaster recovery processes were strengthened using Oracle Data Guard technology. Thanks to the lift-and-shift approach applied by InspireIT together with OCI managed services, the systems were migrated to the Oracle Cloud environment quickly and securely.
As a result of the transformation, the organization’s business continuity capacity increased significantly. RPO and RTO times, previously around 24 hours, were reduced to a matter of minutes. In addition, the higher level of automation made operational processes more efficient and reliable.
Thanks to the flexible cloud infrastructure offered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the organization also benefited from Oracle Universal Cloud Credits and license mobility, optimizing its costs and increasing infrastructure flexibility. The organization now has a modern and scalable IT infrastructure that meets its data security and business continuity objectives.
